Zumba is the largest dance fitness programme in the world. It's based on a Latin-inspired dance fitnes programme developed by Beto Perez in Columbia in the 1990's.

It incorporates dance and aerobic movements and has elements of hip-hop, samba, mambo, salsa and even martial arts.

Some of the benefits of Zumba are that you can go at your own pace, leave out moves that you don't feel comfortable with, and let the music inspire you to do your own thing.
